Leonardo da Vinci was born in the Church of Santa Croce in Vinci Village.

Leonardo da Vinci, a pure genius, was baptized in this church in 1452. It was more than 550 years ago.

The baptistery is still in the church. The works by Cecco Bonanotte were placed just like they surround the historic baptistery.

Finally, this project is going to complete when the round sculptures that surround the ceiling dome are installed.

Pre-Opening Party was carried out on a grand scale on June 13th. Antonio Paolucci, the Director of the Vatican Museums, and a lot of significant people came to the party.

ダヴィンチの出生地、ヴィンチ村にあるサンタ・クローチェ教会。

この教会で、天才レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチは1452年に洗礼を受けました。いまから５５０年以上前です。

その当時の洗礼台は今もなお教会にあり、その歴史的な洗礼台を取り囲むようにチェッコ・ボナノッテの作品が設置されました。

最終的には天井ドームを取り囲む円形の彫刻群が設置され、完成されます。

６月１３日に行われたプレオープニングには、ヴァチカン美術館館長のアントニオ・パオルッチ氏や多くの要人が駆けつけ、盛大に行われました。
